Toyota
consider UK recall
Toyota consider UK recall after defective accelerators have prompted a recall
of millions of vehicles in America. The Japanese car giant said the problem -
which causes the accelerator pedal to stick and keeps the car speeding even
when a driver takes their foot off - had so far been found only in parts from a
U.S. supplier
"Toyota has said it was unaware of any accidents or injuries due to the

Prius plug-in is the rechargeable version of the third-generation
petrol-electric hybrid vehicle
